Hi my name is Mark Johnson and today I am a Six Figure Mentor. Let me give you a brief history of my life and the road that lead me to becoming a Six Figure Mentor.

The Route I Took In Becoming A Six Figure Mentor

I am a very lucky guy and that is all down to my fabulous family. My parents gave me a fantastic education, even though they probably couldn’t afford it and my wife has given me all the support since we met 24 years ago. Without these loving and caring people I wouldn’t be where I am today.

I have always strived for financial independence and freedom. At the age of 13 I was doing all sorts of jobs to earn some money. After school I used to clean the floors at a local cafe, serve food and drinks there on a Saturday and on a Friday and Saturday night I was the washer-upper at an Indian restaurant. They were great times and I earned a few quid too.

My proper working life started at 17 in local government and then moving into transport and distribution. At 19 I worked in the UK and Spain for a travel company. Yes, I was one of those travel resort representatives!

I began my sales and marketing career in 1985 working for an international paper merchant and in 2004 completed a management buy in of a leading graphical packaging company. My life was good. I was married to a beautiful wife, had a lovely home, owned a shareholding in a successful company and commanded a great salary.

With all this, most people would be pretty happy, but I was far from that!…….Let me tell you why?

I don’t know what it is about reaching 40. I’m convinced there is some sort of mid-life crisis for a lot of people when you reach this milestone. I was totally fed up. I wasn’t spending enough time at home with my family. I was driving 40,000 miles a year. I was sick and tired of the corporate world and the political in-fighting and I was still trading my valuable time for money!

One day things changed……….For the better!

In early 2009 at a board meeting I finally snapped and resigned my directorship.

Was I totally raving mad?

After making that decision I remember driving home and wondering how I was going to break the news to my wife. That evening she gave me all the support and encouragement a man could ever need and that is why your family and friends are the most important things in life. The others are love, integrity, success and freedom. I already had love, integrity and success, but how was I going to find freedom?

How was I going to stop trading my valuable time for money and achieve life freedom?

As I’ve said, I was sick and tired of selling. Fed up with all the driving and not spending enough time at home, so it all made sense to work from home, but what business could I run from home?

I knew that the future was and is the internet, but how could I make a living using the power of this medium?

After looking at various online business plans, buying numerous products that didn’t work and then buying more products that just didn’t cut it, I found myself back where I had started. I hadn’t earned any money either, but the strange thing was that I was happy. I’d also learned a hell of a lot, but really needed some expert help in getting my online business up and running properly.

What did I do?

Well, we all need mentors in life. In my early days in sales and marketing I had some great mentors that guided me to a very successful sales and marketing career. I now needed a mentor to help me and guide me to achieve online success and a Six Figure Mentor that could teach me how to leverage the power of the internet and stop trading my time for money.

After doing my research I found the right mentor. Not only a mentor, but a Six Figure Mentor and with their help I actually started to make money online and making money online even when I wasn’t working. I’d finally stopped trading my time for money and was able to leverage the internet. I was even earning more money when I was asleep, using automated systems that were earning me a passive income on auto-pilot.

With the help of my Six Figure Mentor I was able to learn in months what would have normally taken years and I learned from their past mistakes and not mine.

Through their coaching and six figure mentoring I was able to take action on what really works and this enabled me to stop wasting time and more importantly throwing my hard earned money away on stuff that didn’t work. This is why most people that start out online fail miserably, because they run out of resources before they know what actually works for them. Please don’t let this happen to you, because as soon as you get it right and with the help of your Six Figure Mentor you will enjoy total life freedom in terms of time and money.

If you are currently trading your time for money then you can only trade at maximum 15 hours per day. We all have to sleep and if you are trading these sorts of hours you are selling your life down the drain. If you can leverage your time and have automated systems that virtually run on auto-pilot, there really isn’t any limit on the amount of money you can earn and you will have more time to enjoy the finer things in life as a Six Figure Mentor.

More About Me

I have a lot of hobbies and interests which include mountaineering, motorsport, cricket, football, movies, British comedy, music, photography, genealogy, gardening, going to the pub and good food!

My greatest achievement to date was climbing the volcanoes of Ecuador. With the help of my friends we climbed 5 very high mountains in the space of 10 days and raised $5000 (£3000) for leukaemia research.

My other passion is motorsport and I spend a lot of my newly found time following F1 and taking part in track days. My favourite circuits are Spa and the old Nurburgring. Click here to see me driving my XKR around the F1 circuit at Spa.

Building A Free Email List Via Viral Marketing

Are you building an email list?

If not, then you really need to stop what you are doing and get to work on it. Having your own email list is key to your achievements in internet marketing. When you can fire an email out to hundreds of potential clients with a key stroke that’s when your online biz starts growing like crazy. New avenues of revenue open up and you become successful, because your e-business does not depend on other sources of traffic.

Whether you are doing internet marketing or selling used tyres, you need to build a list so that you can utilise that list to create more gains.

There are several different ways, avenues and skills to create a list, but basically all you really need is an opt-in page, also known as a squeeze page and site visitors. It is that simple.

People usually do not have any issues with building a squeeze page. There are so many unique templates out there and you can get ideas from other people’s templates too. If you are not utilising a squeeze page then go and look at other people’s opt-in pages and see how they have created them. Then steal their ideas and use it at a later date for your own website. Don’t use the exact concept, change it with your own concept. bullet points etc. to relate to your offer or show your lead magnet. Once you do have a squeeze page you can use different versions of it to increase conversions.

The two largest issues persons have with creating a list building system is visitors and a good lead magnet. If you have low funds and you can’t afford traffic then it gets difficult to create traffic because you constantly need to think of ways to get traffic and it gets tiring after a while.

However, if your lead magnet is not any good then it is like you are trying to encourage yourself to walk through a brick wall because nobody is signing up to get your email campaign, or the sign-ups are so few.

So, how can you get something that can create a list for you non-stop without costing you anything? Let me tell you about viral marketing.

Viral marketing is amazing and you should use it regardless, even if you have cash to pay for visitors. Viral marketing is content marketing pumped up!

Let me show you a fast technique that you could begin utilising to create a list of dedicated clients quick.

Step #1
Write a 12-15 page report about a related topic in your niche. It has to give your audience some wisdom or knowledge about how to fix a specific problem that they are experiencing, or how they can gain their wanted outcome. Don’t tell them everything yet. It should get them just interested enough to want more information.

Step #2
Write a 35-55 page e-book and produce some cool videos to go with it. Now, this should have a bit more information and provide directions they need to take in order to get what they need or get rid of their issue. You will be giving this away on your squeeze page and the link to your squeeze page will be inside the first 12-15 page report you wrote earlier.

Step #3
Create your squeeze page with a good header and call to action. Upload some auto responder messages you created to go out with more features for your readers. Monetize it as well.

Step #4
Give out your 12-15 page report anywhere you can without copyrights! You want as many people as you can to help you get it out. Email it out to your existing list, do e-book submissions sites, upload it to sites that share documents. Look into adding a viral script to your squeeze page.

Cool Tip: Hire a person to create you a second e-book and sell it on Amazon.Com! As an author you will receive a “do follow” backlink from Amazon.com to your website.

So that’s it. This email list creating tool can be created in less than a week. You could actually just focus on doing this only when building your lists.

Adding Your Website Or Blog To Google News

Lately there are a lot of products popping up about making money with Google news. The concept is simple, you submit your site to Google news and once they approve it your content will be syndicated to their search results.

It’s an awesome strategy to get instant traffic and instant search engine rankings for highly competitive keywords, but there are a few problems now on the horizon. First of all, affiliates are abusing it and post reviews for products and include affiliate links within the content of their news. Google has caught up with it and now a lot of those sites are getting rejected and removed as well.

The whole idea of news is that it’s supposed to be a news release not an affiliate review. Do you see any major news sites including affiliate links within their content? Exactly!

Anyway, it’s still a good method to earn money and you just need to think outside of the box.

Here is how you submit a site to Google news and get approved:

Step 1

Build a trustworthy news site by getting a nice theme and set up the site using WordPress. Get the thesis theme for this if you can. Hire someone to write news releases for you for different sections of your site. Set up categories like “Health” “Business” etc. Make those news categories without any outgoing links. Once you have about 70-100 news releases posted on your site then it’s time to submit it to Google for approval. It’s very important that your site looks like a news site. Have thumbnails for your image posts and images within your releases relevant to the content. The more trustworthy the site looks the higher chance you have for getting approved and included in Google news.

Step 2

Submit it to Google and wait for approval.

Once your site is approved make sure you don’t start posting affiliate links all over. Keep doing what you are doing which is posting news. Monetize traffic with Adsense or other networks. Once you build up more trust then you can include other monetization methods like CPA offers.

Give it some time and spread out your releases over time. Don’t even think about submitting it to Google the first week or even month. Build up some trust first and get the site fully indexed before you do that. Get some nice backlinks too so it doesn’t look like some fly by night news site.

Look After Yourself As An Internet Marketer

It does not really matter what you are selling or promoting, the fact is that people will not buy from you unless they trust you. The real value is in the brand and that value is you.

So, after you have found the right products to sell or promote you need to build a personally branded web site which will have personal information about you and the product or service you are promoting. Once you have done this you will find that it will be a lot easier to promote your personal web site or web sites instead of just promoting the product.

After setting up your personal bio sites and lead capture pages, you now need to think of how you can effectively drive traffic to these sites. Without traffic you will not generate any sales, so it is extremely important to use several methods available to you. These will include article marketing, video marketing and social networking.

Article marketing is extremely effective. There are numerous article writing portals available on the internet that you can join for free.
